BCS Stories via ParentSquare
Every story published to the Building Strong Bears dashboard flows through ParentSquare, the district's primary family communication platform. Teachers submit stories. Families receive them. The community sees their children's school doing what it said it would do. That feedback loop is built into how BCS communicates every week.
Student-Led Conferences
Families do not just receive a report card at Butler County Schools. Students lead their own conferences, walking their families through their work, their growth, and their goals. This makes families partners in their child's education rather than spectators of it.
Family Learning Community
Butler County Schools offers programming specifically designed to bring families into the learning, not just to inform them about it. Family literacy events, parent education nights, and community partnerships give families tools to support their children at home and deepen their connection to the district.
