Governor's Scholar / Governor's School for the Arts Selections

We want to congratulate the following students for being selected to participate in the Governor's Scholar Program and the Governor’s School for the Arts this summer:

Governor's Scholar Selection

We want to congratulate the following students for being selected to participate in the Governor's Scholar Program this summer:

Haley Adkins, Matthew Embry, Brittney Gruber, Allison Kurfiss, and Emily Rich.  Sean Whittinghill was also selected to participate in the Governor’s School for the Arts Program.  Congratulations to these students!


Congratulations to Broadcast Students

Congratulations to the BCHS Broadcast students for winning the 2nd Best Broadcast at the WKU Mark of Excellence Awards. Nolan Johnson, Ian Embry and Isaiah Arnold also placed 2nd for Best Sports Story.

Driver's Manuals

Mrs. Clark has Driver’s Manuals.  There is a $5 deposit, refundable upon return of the manual.


Prom - Project Prom

Prom is April 26th with Project Prom 2014 beginning at midnight, following Prom.


Voter Registration Students who will be 18 years old by November 4, 2014 are eligible to register and vote in the 2014 primary elections.  The completed voter registration cards need to be returned to County Clerk, Shirley Givens at least 29 days before a primary or general election day in order for the students to be eligible to vote in those elections.  The deadline to return the voter registration cards is April 21st, 2014, to be eligible to vote in the May primary election.

Voter Registration cards are available in the Front Office.

Detention

Students who are assigned detention have one week to serve the detention or it becomes a day of in school suspension.  Detention is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 in Room 27.  If a student has an issue, he or she needs to see Mr. Gruber.
