Broadcast I & II Students
The 9th Edition of BC-TV News is available on our website for you and your students to watch during Bear Time or whenever it is convenient for you.

This edition includes the following stories:

  • Blake Graham and Caleb Renfrow take us behind the stage to look at what all goes into preparing for the “Calendar Girl” competition.
  • Mr. Brian Bivens is back in the sequel to, “The Substitute”.
  • Lute Locke and Sean Whittinghill will help you find that perfect gift at your local “Animal Shelter”.
  • With the holiday season upon us, Dakota Shutt and Drew Clark show you how you can help overcome the “Poverty in Butler County”
  • If you are going out Christmas shopping this weekend you can get your “Weather Forecast” with Remmington Harpe.
  • “Gamers Club” is growing in popularity as it offers a unique opportunity for its members. Kimberlea Ferrell and Trevor Howlett roll the dice to show us what it’s all about.
  • As usual, Emily Rich gives those sports fanatics their weekly dose of BCHS play.
  • As seniors are beginning to enter their final semester of their high school career, Ashton Garrison examines the memories they have in, “Seniors Looking Back”
  • Finally, seniors aren’t the only ones getting ready to enter the final semester at BCHS. Isaiah Arnold and Nolan Johnson talk with one amazing teacher in, “Mr. Fuller – Retiring”.

Don’t forget the Christmas Show will air next Thursday, December 18th.

We hope you enjoy the show.

Christmas Ornaments for Sale

The Art club will be selling BCHS Christmas Ornaments during lunch through December 19th.  They are $6 each or 2 for $10.

KHEAA Financial Aid Workshop

There will be a KHEAA Financial Aid Workshop at Butler County High School in January.

Brian Brausch with WKU, along with a representative from KHEAA will be here on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 8:00AM-5:00PM.  They will take a lunch break from Noon til 12:30.

There will be 2 time slots available for each 30 minute appointment.

There is a signup sheet in the BCHS Guidance Office.   Please call me for an appointment, as an email may cause confusion.  I would rather speak to each parent/guardian personally, to avoid any miscommunication.

Schedule Changes

Schedules cannot be changed until January 5,6, or 7th.   We will start taking names on Monday, January 5th, with a parent phone call to the school.
