Learner-Centered Growth

Supporting Every Learner, Together

  • Student Ownership and Advisory Support
We believe students grow best when they are known, supported, and empowered. Through advisory, student-led conferences, and field-based learning, we nurture voice, agency, and real-world readiness.
  • Family Engagement That Closes Gaps
We honor families as vital partners in the learning process. By expanding outreach and communication, we build strong relationships that help close learning gaps and strengthen student success.
  • Educator Development with Purpose
We invest in our educators as lifelong learners. Through collaborative structures like PLCs and G-Days, we equip teachers to lead student-centered learning grounded in shared goals and professional growth.
  • Community as Learning Partner
We value the role of community in shaping meaningful learning. Local partnerships provide authentic experiences—linking classroom learning with purpose, place, and the future our students are building.

Learner-Centered Growth In Action

Our Community Partners

Our community partners play a vital role in supporting student success, strengthening connections, and helping us create real-world learning opportunities that prepare students for lifelong achievement.

  • Hood’s Market: 25 Years of Local Commitment

Hood’s Market has been a valued part of the Butler County community for over 25 years — a place where neighbors gather, fuel up, and support local schools at the same time. Through their dedicated school pump, Hood’s Market donates a portion of every gallon sold to Butler County Schools, helping fund important safety improvements that benefit all students.

This year alone, their generosity has resulted in over $5,000 in donations, with more than $22,000 contributed since 2019. It’s a powerful example of how local businesses and schools can work together to create a safer, stronger community. We’re proud to partner with Hood’s Market and deeply grateful for all the ways they support our students, families, and staff.

  • Morgantown Bank & Trust: 145 Years of Service and Partnership

Morgantown Bank & Trust has been a trusted pillar of the Butler County community for 145 years — a partner dedicated not only to financial service, but to supporting our schools, students, and families in meaningful ways.

From classroom presentations to sponsorship of extracurricular programs, Morgantown Bank & Trust has consistently invested in the success of Butler County Schools. One of their most impactful contributions is their partnership in our Career Exploration program, where they help freshmen and sophomores at Butler County High School connect classroom learning with real-world career opportunities.

Their long-standing commitment exemplifies how local businesses and schools can work together to strengthen the connection between education and workforce readiness. We are proud to partner with Morgantown Bank & Trust and deeply grateful for their ongoing dedication to our students’ success and our community’s future.

  • Butler County Library: A New Chapter of Partnership and Service

Butler County Library has long been a vital part of our community: a hub of learning, connection, and opportunity for students and families alike.

From hosting early learning events with our LEAP Bus to supporting adult education as a GED testing site, the library continues to create pathways for lifelong learning and success.

The groundbreaking of the new library marks an exciting chapter in this partnership. Together, we’re expanding opportunities for learners of all ages and strengthening the bonds between our schools, families, and community.

We are proud to partner with Butler County Library and look forward to all the ways this new space will inspire growth and connection for years to come.
